Use of the site
Runbookery provides educational and operational information about DevOps, infrastructure and software systems. You may use the site for lawful purposes and should apply commands or configuration changes only when you understand their effect in your own environment.
No guarantee of fitness
Infrastructure environments differ. Runbookery aims to provide technically useful material, but content and tools are provided without a guarantee that they are complete, error-free or suitable for every system. Verify important commands, backups, access permissions and change procedures before production use.
Operational responsibility
You are responsible for the systems you operate and for evaluating the impact of any command, configuration, deletion, restart, deployment or other change. Warnings in Runbookery highlight some consequential actions but cannot cover every environment-specific risk.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, original Runbookery site content, presentation and custom tooling are owned by Runbookery. Product names, trademarks and third-party software remain the property of their respective owners. Open-source libraries used by Runbookery remain subject to their own licenses.
External services and links
Runbookery may link to external documentation, tools or services. Those services are operated by their respective providers and may change independently of Runbookery.
Availability and changes
Runbookery may add, modify or remove content, tools or site features at any time. These terms may also be revised as the site evolves.
